Tarbert Holiday Park

Situated two and a half miles south of the village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne, we offer facilities for campervans and motorhomes, caravans as well as a range of glamping pods.

Tarbert Holiday Park is the perfect overnight stop when you want to get the early ferry – it’s close to ferry terminals for Islay, Arran, Gigha and the Cowal peninsula. It’s also a good base from where to explore Kintyre, where you’ll find everything from whisky and gin distilleries to long distance walking routes and a multitude of festivals!

Situated close to the Kintyre Way, Tarbert Holiday Park is perfectly positioned for people who want to walk all, or part, of this 100-mile trail. It’s also a great location for mountain biking as it combines some off road sections with forestry paths.

Tarbert Holiday Park is just a ten-minute drive from pretty village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Here you’ll find lots of independent shops selling some original gifts, as well as a number of cafes and restaurants. Be sure to also take a walk up to Robert the Bruce’s castle, which although now ruined, dominates the village skyline.

‘Try paddlesports with Kayak Majik on the sheltered waters of the West Loch, opposite Tarbert Holiday Park. Available between
Easter and October it offers kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddleboarding. These can be hired by the hour, or if you’d prefer, you can book a session with their fully qualified paddlesports coach.

Stunning Views

Kintyre is stunning, it’s no exaggeration to say that your next photo opportunity is just around the corner, and we want you to see as much of it as possible.

We highly recommend travelling around the peninsula for beaches, golf courses, castles and reminders of our ancient past. Take time to explore the picturesque villages and towns which dot the coast and meet the locals.

  • When you’re on the park, please keep your dog on a lead, pick up after them and make sure a responsible adult is looking after them.

Why not swap your car for an e-bike and cycle off road to find your new favourite picnic place, or hire a kayak for a trip along the coast to discover a secret beach which can’t be reached by road?

We love wildlife and, deer, red squirrels and otters are regularly seen around the park. If you’re very lucky you may also see ospreys and sea eagles overhead.
